CELPIP Listening: Task 3 – Listening for Information
Task 3, Listening for Information
This task is a dialogue between two people that uses difficult vocabulary for a specific event. Usually, one speaker is an expert in their field and explains an issue (something particular) to the other person. The conversation is between 2 and 2.5 minutes long, so note-taking is at a premium. The test taker will have 30 seconds to answer each of the 6 questions that are spoken, but the answer choices are written on the screen to choose from.
Choose one answer (click in the circle beside your choice with your cursor) then click the ‘Next button’ for the next question to be spoken.
Remember: you will have a 30-second limit to answer, then the next question will be asked automatically.
