Part 2: Reading to Apply a Diagram (9 minutes)
CELPIP Reading Part 2 attempts to relate a diagram to an email. The email may be personal or work-related, and like Part 1 above it has two tasks. First, test-takers have to complete the email by filling in 5 blanks. Then there are 3 statements about the email that needs to be completed. For the first part of filling in the blanks, test-takers must relate the diagram to the blanks in the email – the blanks in the email always correspond to the diagrams. Once the blanks have been filled in, then the 3 statements and their possible answers can be understood. Again, all choices can be seen by clicking on the arrow icon (↓) to which a drop-down box of choices can be seen (for the purposes of this text, the drop-down choices will be listed as multiple choice options).
