It is predicted that robots are going to become increasingly important in our lives. How could robots be used in the future? Will this development be a positive or negative development?
Introductory Paragraph
Sentence 1: As technology advances, robotic use in many industries is increasing.
Sentence 2: Although some people believe that robotic use will continue to develop in the future,
others remain pessimistic about this progress.
Sentence 3: This essay will discuss the importance of robotic use in the future
and explain why the future may not be so beneficial for humans.
Paragraph 1
Sentence 1: Robot use has been a great advantage to industry because many of the things a
human finds it difficult to do, a robot can do efficiently and effectively.
Sentence 2: If computer technology continues to advance, it can be assumed robotic use will
increase right along with it.
Sentence 3: For example, the car industry has almost eliminated the human element from its
factory assembly lines.
Sentence 4: We can now foresee a future where very few humans are needed to be employed in
industrial jobs.
Paragraph 2
Sentence 1: On the other hand, if robots do continue to develop with advancements in
technology, human employment may disappear altogether.
Sentence 2: This could lead to a future of mass unemployment, where only a few people are
employed to attend to computers.
Sentence 3: For instance, robotic computers will control almost every aspect of our lives from
house cleaning to finance and all forms of industrial activity.
Sentence 4: Although it may seem beneficial that humans do not work, the future may be a
terrible because it will be bereft of anything meaningful to do for most people.
Conclusion
Sentence 1: In conclusion, this essay has discussed the future of human beings in a world
where technology has progressed by way of robotic use.
Sentence 2: In my opinion, while robots may replace humans in the future because they are
more capable and effective workers, humans will have to find alternative ways to employ
themselves.
